Dream and interpretation: Dance in the Spirit

I was waiting outside to go into the dance club. When I finally went into the club I saw a bunch a people sitting down at tables…miserable not having a good time at all.

It looked as if they didn’t want me there. I hesitated but my dance partner led me in with a great big smile.

The music started and the disco light sparkled as my dance partner grabbed me and we began to dance.

Those that know me know I don’t dance but we were dancing across that dance floor like Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Grey having the time of our lives…as my dance partner dipped me I noticed all eyes were on us.

I noticed a lady who was disarming the people sitting down at the booths. My dance partner did not seem concerned at all…we just kept dancing.

I felt free, overwhelmed with joy, and unstoppable.

I entered the wilderness surrounded by the enemy. My dance partner was the Holy Spirit who our hope and power comes from!

I pray that the God who gives hope will fill you with much joy and peace while you trust in him. Then your hope will overflow by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Romans‬ ‭15:13‬

The Holy Spirit’s job is to lead us in the wilderness…positioning us with purpose so we can make the greatest impact on the people who are watching us by letting the Spirit take lead.

Even Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. (Luke 4:1)

When you are in the will of God…no weapon formed against you will prosper.

So no weapon that is used against you will defeat you. You will show that those who speak against you are wrong. These are the good things we receive even in the wilderness. Our victory comes from Him and Him alone. (Isaiah 54:17)

I felt free, overwhelmed with joy, and unstoppable…and that’s exactly how we should feel in the dry places as we get ready to exit into our purpose and destiny.

It wasn’t just me and the Holy Spirit dancing…it was the Father controlling the music and the lights and that was Jesus disarming the enemy by the power of His blood…and my one responsibility was to trust and follow the lead of my dance partner…the Holy Spirit.

How about you? Are you following the lead of the Holy Spirit?

The Father is in control and Jesus has already done the work.

Don’t allow your flesh, this world, or the enemy to take the lead of your dance.
