Scripture tells us that God has given us each gifts through the Holy Spirit to edify the church, and everything inside me is telling me GOD wants to reveal His supernatural presence and power to all that seek Him wholeheartedly.

My third annual Women’s Retreat is this coming weekend, and the very first thing God has me teaching on are these three points:

1.) God called you with a specific purpose in mind. (Jeremiah 29)

2.) God wants prayer to be a supernatural encounter with Him. (Psalm 100)

3.) God has gifted you with the Holy Spirit who in return gifts you with the abilities to edify the Body of Christ. (1 Corinthians 12)

Goodness! I know this TERRIFIES the pants off the Devil, and if I’m honest, the skeptical in me is terrified, too!

It’s one thing when we are exercising our comfortable gifts like teaching, ministering, and giving; but what about those gifts that shift the fear in us like prophesying, speaking in tongues, and healing. The supernatural gifts that reveal God’s power.

What do we do with that fear?

We face our FEARS! We run at the enemy head on.

About a month ago a rooster came after Charlee and flocked him with his spurs. It made him bleed and from that moment on the rooster would chase after Charlee and Charlee would run circles in fear.

Harold ended up killing that rooster because Charlee wouldn’t go outside anymore. It wasn’t long before all the children stopped enjoying the outdoors. It became a chore just getting them to the car. They all wanted to be carried.

Did killing the rooster solve the problem? Nope!

Another rooster took his place….same thing started happening all over again.

Charlee asked Harold to kill that rooster, too. Harold told him he couldn’t go around killing every rooster…you’re gonna have to stand up to it and face your fear.

Harold told Charlee to run at the rooster full speed and give him a swift kick. Although Charlee was intimidated and unsure, he went at that rooster and every other rooster we have full speed.

At first the roosters were going to fight back, and try to chase him; but after one swift kick the roosters knew Charlee no longer was gonna run in fear. I watched as Charlee got his confidence back. He began to play outside again and the rest of the littles joined him.

They followed his lead.

That’s what you are to do. Suit up. Attack back! Full speed…head on…run at the enemy with the power and authority that God our Father has given you through His Son Jesus!

God the Father and God the Son did not leave you alone, but you are left with God the Holy Spirit who equips you. So my question to you is…are you experiencing the presence and power of the Holy Spirit who dwells in you?

The church needs an awakening. What we’re doing isn’t working. We need change. We need to welcome back the Holy Spirit in our daily lives.

We need healing…we need a miracle.

These are two gifts that only God the Holy Spirit bestows on His people to edify the church.

Yes, I was like Charlee. I was intimidated and unsure. There was a time I was trapped in fear, but then I ran at the enemy head on, and now I’m experiencing God in ways I never imagined possible…and now I want to lead others to seek the truth.

What is that truth?

There is more to God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. You can experience ALL that God has for you in earth as in Heaven.

But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsover I have said unto you.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:26-27

Read John 14 today. You will be encouraged to see that Philip and Thomas, who walked with Jesus, had doubts and uncertainties, too…and that’s okay. God just wants you to seek Him…and when you seek you will find Him.

And you shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart.

Jeremiah 29:13

Are you ready to run at the enemy full speed?
